Following are some examples of the kind of work I do.

My focus is on creating graceful and fully functional forms, clothed in glazes which are both visually interesting and safe and durable for daily use in the home.

All glazes pictured are nontoxic, lead-free, dishwasher-safe and microwave-safe.

French butter keepers are made to keep butter fresh and spreadable at room temperature.

Bowl, left, is filled about 1/3 with water. Lid, on right, is filled with butter. This one holds 1 stick (1/4 lb or 1/2 cup). Lid is then inverted and placed on bowl, submerging its lip in the water. The water keeps the butter fresh by preventing it from being exposed to air, and also helps moderate temperature and keep the butter from melting.
